What’s the Point?
The blogosphere already contains enough navel gazing to satisfy even the most arcane narcissistic impulses. This blog is not meant to be my voyage of self-discovery. That journey would be as boring for the reader as it would be for me.
Rather, I intend to record my thoughts and opinions in something of an electronic diary so that down the road I will be able to reflect on how my views have changed with time and influence. My entries will summarize my religious musings, historical research, and political opinions.
[Added 5-14-2008] Already the personal value of this blog extends beyond this (intentionally) limited scope. Frankly, I have learned a good deal from the comments and emails of my readers over the past several months.
